GALA EVENING & DISPLAY DAY
Thank you all for your support in attending our Gala or Display Day performances. Last year we raised funds for our inflatable air track. As you saw on Friday evening and Saturday morning, this new piece of equipment is a fantastic asset for all of the classes and Squads, reducing fatigue, pressure on joints and increasing safety whilst increasing the fun as well.
This year we are hoping to raise funds to purchase a new sound system for the club. We have in the past been able to borrow a music system from Bob and Sue Sasse, for which we are extremely grateful, and would like to take this opportunity of thanking them for their kind generosity in lending us their equipment.
All of the gymnasts are to be congratulated for their fantastic efforts on Friday and Saturday to make our Annual Display such a wonderful success. Could I also thank all the coaches for their hard work in preparing the various routines, which take hours of work and practice, our committee members behind the scenes, too numerous to mention by name, but we do really appreciate all your help. Also, I would like to thank all the parents, relatives and friends who turned up to see the gymnasts perform. I hope you enjoyed it too.
Could I also take this opportunity of reminding you all, that we need more help with the equipment at the beginning and end of both squad and class training sessions. As the equipment is now stored in an outside storage container, it all needs to be carried in and out of the gym. So please, when you bring your gymnasts to a training session, or collect them at the end, please try to help as much and often as you can.
I hope you will all continue to support the club and our gymnasts at future events, and join in all the fun.

CLUB CHAMPIOSHIPS: The annual club championships will be held on 22nd November - Details to follow.

Father Christmas will be visiting the club on Saturday 13th December at 10.30 am and 11.30am.
Any siblings or gymnasts from other classes are welcome to come and see him. (please bring, and give to a coach a wrapped, named gift for each child, costing a max of £2.00p)
OUR NEW CHAIRPERSON
We have a new Chairperson who was voted in at our AGM, we would like to welcome Kate Collins to her new posistion within the club and we all look forward to working closely together.
Kate has been a member of our general committee for a couple of years and is familar with the way the club is run and the ethos behind the club, her son is a Squad and Display Team member.
